Babel Books
Babel is an independent bookstore and publisher in Bogotá, specializing in children's literature and illustration. Its logo was hand-drawn by Babel's founder, and in this rebranding, we wanted to preserve the character (representing Silly Simon) while addressing some reproduction and legibility issues. Additionally, we enhanced the brand with a much more approachable and playful aesthetic, reflecting its personality and purpose.
Brand Story
Babel aims to enrich children's literary experience in Colombia. This brand is not just a bookstore, but an oasis of imagination and learning where children can discover entire worlds through captivating stories. In addition to offering a carefully curated selection of high-quality children's books, Babel organizes educational and cultural activities, such as storytelling sessions, workshops, and literary events, that seek to stimulate creativity and a love of reading in children, thus contributing to the intellectual and emotional development of the country's future generations.
